Important timing to consider.
The US Post Office has recently changed their service standards (officially) to coincide with delays already experienced during the pandemic. While we dislike being forced to consider such mundane things in the midst of our fannish rites, it is nevertheless the physical reality. And so, mail ballots must be RECEIVED by November 19, 2021, and the minimum service time stated by USPS is
five (5!) days.
Then clearly this may go askew if mailed on or after the 14th, but you should apply discretion according to your own mail experiences. The document provides an address useful for private carriers that cost more such as FedEx, UPS, or any other that you feel certain of. Your cost is of course yours to bear. But the 19th is the hard deadline for receiving. Payments must be made in US dollars by check, or money order made payable to “Westercon 75”. No ballot will be counted without the fee attached. Do not send cash.
On-Site Voting will be available to those physically present, but The onsite balloting period at Westercon 73 is scheduled to end at 8 p.m. PST on Friday, November 26.
